How to buy and activate a WiFi voucher

Step-by-step guide to picking a package, paying via M-Pesa, and connecting to GeraldoHub WiFi.

Voucher didn't activate — what to do

Troubleshooting: what to check if the voucher isn't working immediately.

First, check your dashboard at /dashboard — if the voucher shows 'active', the code IS ready. If it shows 'pending', wait 30 seconds and reload. If still pending after 2 min, the M-Pesa callback may have failed — contact support with your transaction ID.

Sharing a voucher with multiple devices

Each voucher supports the device count printed on the package. Premium packages allow up to 5 devices.

Multi-device vouchers share the same code. Once activated on device 1, just enter the same code on device 2 — no extra cost. Limit applies to simultaneous connections, not total devices over time.

We don't use maps. Instead we have a 13-zone distance matrix for Nairobi + major cities. Price = base fare + (km × per-km rate) × fuel surge. The surge auto-adjusts when petrol prices change — capped between 70% and 160%.

How the 'Schedule for later' option works and when riders get assigned.

You can schedule any delivery for a future time (minimum 10 min from now). A rider is NOT assigned at booking — instead, our background runner auto-assigns one ~30 min before pickup. You and the rider both get an SMS the moment assignment happens.

Every delivery has a tracking page with: pickup status, rider name & phone (one-tap call/WhatsApp), live timeline of events, ETA estimate. The page auto-refreshes — leave it open.

Pick a service from /digital → fill out the brief → request booking. We accept or decline within 4 hours. You only pay AFTER we accept. Most jobs deliver same-day or within the duration shown on the card.

Cyber café (hourly): no refund after consumed. IT support: 100% refund if cancelled before technician arrives, 50% if cancelled mid-job. Web dev / printing: 50% refund if cancelled before delivery, 0% after.

M-Pesa STK push didn't pop up — what now?

Common causes: wrong phone format, M-Pesa cap, network glitch.

1. Phone must be in the format 2547XXXXXXXX or 07XXXXXXXX (no spaces). 2. Make sure your M-Pesa balance covers the amount plus the KES 0-37 transaction fee. 3. If nothing happens after 30 seconds, try again — Safaricom occasionally throttles back-to-back STK pushes.

Find your referral code in /dashboard. Share it. When a friend signs up AND completes their first WiFi voucher purchase, you automatically get KES 50 credit. The credit shows up in your dashboard and can be applied to any future purchase.

Resetting your password

If you forgot your password, use the reset link emailed to you.

Go to /forgot-password → enter your email → check your inbox for a reset link (expires in 1 hour). Click the link, set a new password (min 6 chars). You'll be automatically logged in.

Becoming a delivery agent / rider

Apply via WhatsApp. Once approved, you get an invite code to sign up as an agent.

Reach out via /careers or WhatsApp +254 103 546 402. After we verify your documents (ID, riding license, motorcycle ownership), we'll DM you an invite code. Use it during sign-up to register as a delivery_agent role with rider-side dashboard access.

Is GeraldoHub safe to use?

Security overview: M-Pesa direct, JWT auth, secure cookies, 2FA for admins.

All payments go through Safaricom's Daraja API directly — we never see your M-Pesa PIN or balance. User passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Admin accounts require email 2FA OTP on every login. We rate-limit auth endpoints to prevent brute-force attacks. Strict CORS allowlist. HTTPS-only in production.
